Alcohol Awareness

About 14 million Americans meet the diagnostic criteria for alcohol abuse or alcoholism. More than 50% of adults in the U.S. have at least one family member who has or has had alcoholism. One in four children in the U.S. under 18 years old is exposed to alcohol abuse or alcohol dependence in the family.
Consequences of alcohol use not only impact the health and well being of the drinker, but also those around them. At EmPoWER Somerset, we provide resources and information to our community to reduce consequences associated with alcohol use through knowing the laws and making the right decisions to protect against unnecessary risks.
